Save the Date for the Board of Trustees Virtual Townhall

The town hall will be recorded and shared with the campus community the week after the event.

The Work of the College Series is a year-long program of events with four goals: (1) clarify organizational structures and decision-making processes; (2) offer campus constituencies the opportunity to dialogue with leadership about campus affairs; (3) increase decision-making transparency in hopes of building trust; and (4) build community.

The Work of the CollegSeries consists of:

  • Community Conversations (dialogue about specific topics)
  • Roadshows (presentations and Q&As)

The President’s Leadership Awards and the Heartwood Trophies

Nominations for the President’s Leadership Awards are still open

Reclaimed from the trees taken down during the construction of Tutt Library, the Heartwood Trophies honor not only our people but also our sense of place. Award recipients will have their names engraved alongside the growth rings, a $2,500 cash prize will be distributed per award among the recipients, and they will be honored at Spring Conference on Friday, Jan. 12, 2024.
Rumors of luck and fortuity also surround the trophies. Recipients of years past reported the trophies increased office visitors, evoked pleasant memories, and made office plants grow more than usual. There was even a report that an honoree was never without a pen the year they had the trophy. So please, help cultivate these honors and nominate a colleague today!
Now is the time to give back to individuals or groups who have made a difference in your life and the lives of others at CC. As part of our strategic initiative to foster workplace excellence, it’s important to recognize those who are making a difference. Visit President’s Leadership Award – Colorado College to learn more about the awards program and the nomination criteria, and to submit a nomination. Submissions are open until Friday, Nov. 3, at 11:59 p.m. MST.
