When asked what music I listen to I often have found myself saying “Everything! Well other than country.” I have grown up with the stance that I truly do like all music that can be deemed as good and country simply exists outside that category. That being said as I get older I also have found comfort in the acknowledgment that at my core, I am a hypocrite. In light of my learning to embrace this inevitable truth here are 5 country songs that I listen to regularly.
I think most people are hypocrites no matter how hard we try. Life becomes easier when you come to terms with that fact. Music is also more fun when you aren’t spending time thinking about what you have established as good.
