Updated Study Space Hours

With Block 1 in full swing, it’s been great to receive input on the use and availability of study spaces on campus during the library transition. We’ve added a brand new study space for this year, the Mod Pod, and expanded hours at other study spaces around campus, including Worner Campus Center and the Seay Music Library.

Stressed out by all of the construction? Take a Nap in Shove Chapel this Wednesday from 3-4pm! Come take a break from your busy life and re-charge for the week in a safe and welcoming space. We will be handing out sleep kits. Come for 15 minutes or stay longer. Bring your own blanket!

Embrace Change with Tacos and The “Late Show”

Join the campus community and have some fun during the library transition. Plan ahead for these events coming next week: Tuesday, Sept. 6, from 6-8 p.m., join the Quantitative Reasoning Center for Taco Tuesday. Look for the taco truck outside the QRC at Gill House, 1105 N. Cascade, Ave. near the Mod Pod. On the second Tuesday of each block, the first 60 students to come to study at the QRC or work with a QRC tutor may take one coupon for a free taco plate. Questions? Check Out 360-Degree Photos of New Study Spaces

New study spaces around campus are now open for business. Gates Common Room in Palmer Hall is home to senior and thesis study carrels. The Mod Pod houses the Writing Center, computers, printers, and plenty of tables and chairs for studying. These 360-degree photos give you a sneak peek into the new and updated spaces before the official start of the academic year, and catch an in-person glimpse yourself: All locations and hours are available.
