Come work in the Collaborative for Community Engagement Office!
- Provide guidance and support to community-engaged student-led initiatives for the purpose of developing civic leadership skills, in collaboration with the Engaged Learning Specialist; support established and emerging student organizations in accordance with student goals and the CCE mission; oversee adherence to CCE expectations/responsibilities for student-led initiatives, including office protocols/systems, engagement in programming, and community partnership best practices.
- Proactively advise and mentor CCE student leaders through regular communication and interaction, seeking to build relationships in an effort to promote personal civic leadership development.
- In close collaboration with the Engaged Learning Specialist: design programming, trainings, and events that build civic leadership skills; and develop student leadership structures that provide scaled leadership opportunities with progressively increasing responsibility in an effort to create a developmental pathway for civic leadership.
