Distinguishing Features
Disciplinary Expertise – MAT students take graduate-level courses in their elected discipline, culminating in a final research project demonstrating disciplinary scholarship.
Focus on Pedagogy – MAT students take graduate-level courses in adolescent education, covering a wide range of issues, ideas, and practices.
Extensive Teaching Residencies – MAT students are embedded in public schools throughout the year, allowing for daily interaction and experience in the classroom.
