Pine Island camp is a small, independent, boys summer camp located in Belgrade, Maine. Members of the Pine Island staff plan, promote and teach an activity (eg. sailing, canoeing, kayaking, archery…) and lead 3 to 5-day trips throughout the rivers and mountains of Maine and New Hampshire. Pine Island was founded in 1902 and very little about the camp has changed in the past 116 years. We enjoy Island life unplugged and away from technology. Our success is reliant on the fantastic staff we assemble each summer. Our staff are given substantial responsibility, which results in significant growth and a great sense of accomplishment at the end of the summer. We are actively looking for counselors looking to spend a summer outside on a beautiful island in Maine.
