The Diversity Abroad Global Education Fellowship invites graduate students and new professionals interested in pursuing careers or gaining professional development experience in global education to apply for a 10 month fellowship to work remotely with Diversity Abroad in the following functional areas:
Student Support Services
- Create student-centered content online, including identity-specific country guides and weekly articles
- Connect with Diversity Abroad alumni to collect narratives and stories
- Create social media and marketing content to strengthen online presence
- Moderate community forums
- Co-chair a Diversity in Global Education Task Force
Educational Resources & Member Engagement
- Develop and enhance online offerings, including the Good Practices Series, Advising Manuals, Community Discussions, etc.
- Connect with Diversity Network member institutions and organizations to identify their needs and create content to strengthen member engagement
- Research and develop cutting-edge global education content for Diversity Network members
- Provide insight and administrative support for The Global Impact Exchange quarterly publication
- Co-Chair a Diversity in Global Education Task Force
Minority Serving Institution (MSI) Engagement
- MSI Engagement to include co-chair of MSI task force
- Create unique content for students from MSIs
- Provide support for fall MSI Global Education Summit
- Generate ideas and execute MSI-specific research
- Other thought leadership related to MSIs
Event Coordination
- Assist in the execution of events such as the Annual Diversity Abroad Conference, Regional Workshops, Online Webinars
- Support Diversity Abroad’s presence at external conferences and events
- Involvement in the Diversity in Global Education Task Force
