Excel at EXCEL: Skills to Get the Job You Want Half Block
What’s this class about?
This course is for the beginner who knows that they should know Excel but wants a coach to show them the ropes. We will start with the basics of data entry and formatting, cover most of the basic menus, and leave you able to make presentation-quality tables and graphs, create and interpret univariate regression “lines of best fit”, do pivot tables, run what-if analyses, and lots more. Plus, we will have fun, guaranteed.
What are the times and dates?
The first week of Half Block: January 7-11, with class from 9am-noon.
Who should sign up for this course?
Anyone – especially humanities and social science majors – that wants a beginner-level Excel course to become a more competitive candidate for jobs, to make quantitative data analysis easier, or to become more confident getting organized and getting things done in Excel.
