This exclusive opportunity, developed with the support of a CC alum and member of the foundation’s board, is ideal for a marketing-savvy CC student who is excited to promote outdoor recreation while learning more about non-profit management, donor engagement, event planning, and best practices in digital fundraising strategies and impact-oriented communications.
Reporting to the Executive Directors, this internship will support the Climb for Cancer Foundation with their summer fundraising campaign, 50-50-1 (https://www.fiftyfiftyone.org).
The selected intern will undertake a variety of tasks while proposing and executing strategies that directly contribute to Climb for Cancer’s mission. You will develop and deploy communication to reach mass audiences, specific donor groups, and targeted individuals to increase engagement and mobilize campaign participants/donors. In particular, you will write, design and manage digital marketing content for the organization’s websites, social media accounts, email campaigns and more. You will track and assess effectiveness of marketing and support the organization with other activities as assigned.
