Outdoor Education is looking to hire full time or Part Time NSO Summer Interns to assist in planning and implementation of Fall NSO trips, help lead Summer Session day trips, work at the gearhouse and indoor climbing wall. It is preferred to hire full time interns but for those who are taking summer block classes we may have some opportunity for part time employment during that class session.
This position is vital to the success of New Student Orientation and the Priddy Trip Experience. Summer interns are responsible for planning and organizing all 65-70 Priddy Experience Trip sites and all of the logistics associated with travel, training, registration, equipment, etc. This position also assists with all logistics for any virtual components of NSO and the Priddy Experience.
We are looking for hard working, motivated students who are passionate about making NSO and the Priddy Experience welcoming, safe, and truly inclusive for all incoming students in both an in person and virtual experience.
This position will require both virtual and in person work throughout the summer. Interns must be on campus/live in Colorado Springs during the summer and be enrolled in classes for the Fall.

Start Date: Monday, June 7, 2021. Interns will have the opportunity to either lead an NSO trip or continue to work on-campus as support staff for trips.
End Date: This position runs through NSO. Full time work ends prior to Block 1 start but some additional hours are available during Block 1. One intern is kept on throughout the academic year to plan and coordinate Winter Start Orientation. This year, In Person Priddy Trips may happen during Block 1 Break and this position would be expected to continue to work and help coordinate those trips.
