For over 25 years, Bard Graduate Center has been training the next generation of curators, researchers, and museum and arts professionals. Their MA and PhD programs offer a broad exploration of history through its material traces, drawing on methodologies and approaches from art and design history, economic and cultural history, and anthropology and archaeology, and their students come from diverse academic backgrounds, including art history, anthropology, religious studies, history, and classics. The two-year MA program includes internship opportunities at cultural institutions all over the world as well as a funded international study trip. Graduates of BGC go on to a range of professional careers in the museum world and beyond, and many continue their research at highly competitive doctoral programs. And nearly 80% of their MA students receive financial aid to help with the cost of their graduate education. On Tuesday, November 17, join director of admissions Keith Condon for more information on BGC and the admissions process.
