The Global Warming Mitigation Project just made our internships live for Spring 2022! See below for more information and the link to applications! Please share this blurb with students in your network!
The Global Warming Mitigation Project (GWMP), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization working to solve the climate crisis through global collaboration and innovation, is organizing the fourth iteration of a virtual internship program with winners and finalists of the Keeling Curve Prize. Many of these organizations are startups, all working in the climate change space.
There are approximately 11 job postings from partner organizations posted on our website. Please note that all positions are virtual and part-time. To apply, students should review available positions and submit their applications here.
We will be sending applications to our partner organizations on a rolling basis until all positions have been filled. Applications close Wednesday, December 1st at 11:59 pm EST. The deadline for organizations to confirm their hiring decisions will be Monday, December 20th and the program begins Monday, January 10th.
If you are hired by an organization, you will become part of our virtual intern cohort for the Spring. Students will work remotely with whatever organization hires them and will be expected to complete the tasks laid out and agreed upon between the organization and student/intern.
Additionally, we will act as a resource for interns, having scheduled check-ins over the course of the semester. We also have a plan for networking opportunities with people affiliated with our organization, all experts in the climate change space.
Once again, positions can be reviewed on the GWMP website: https://www.globalwarmingmitigationproject.org/constellations
