The Global Women’s Leadership Initiative (GWLI) at the Wilson Center promotes increased and substantive women’s leadership worldwide. The Initiative’s flagship program, The Women in Public Service Project, works toward the 50×50 goal of 50% women’s representation in public service leadership by 2050 by building networks, enabling and inspiring women, and collecting the data that drives the movement toward global gender parity.
The Global Women’s Leadership Initiative is currently seeking interns to support the programming efforts, research, communications, and administrative needs of the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in the nonprofit sector to contribute to the goals of the Initiative and learn about women in leadership positions.
