Isla offers internships in Uganda for both students and recent graduates that are a great opportunity to gain entry-level, first-hand experience in sustainable international development.
Isla interns work in collaboration with the Foundation for Community Development and local Ugandan partnerships to promote community-driven sustainable development. Internships are offered in a variety of focus areas including:
– Youth Development & Education
– Health & Well-Being
– HIV-AIDS Awareness
– Small Business & Social Entrepreneurship Development
– Peace and Social Justice
– Gender Equality
Each of our internships can be customized to best fit the students specific skill sets and interests. Our interns come from a variety of educational backgrounds. Internships are between 9-26 weeks long. The application deadline for the summer program is April 25th.
