The International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS) team is offering the following employment workshop for international students on an F-1 visa:
What: Optional Practical Training (OPT) Workshop
Date: Wednesday, October 13th
Location: 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Where: Timothy Fuller Event Space (2nd floor of Tutt Library, formerly the Tutt Library Event Space)
Interested in working in a post-graduation job in the U.S.? This workshop will explain how F-1 students can receive employment authorization to work off-campus after graduation with Optional Practical Training (OPT). Post-completion OPT and the STEM OPT Extension will be discussed.
No RSVP is needed to attend. Please direct questions about these workshops to Marlene Arnold (marnold@coloradocollege.edu). If these dates do not work for you, additional CPT and OPT workshops will be offered in Block 3 (these will be announced). Recordings of previous workshops can also be provided.
