The Career Center in partnership with the Dean of Students office will be hosting two alums, for Block 8 weeks 1; T. Justin Garoutte ’12 (April 26th & 27th) and Nancy Hernandez ’96, week 2 (May 2nd morning and May 3rd afternoon) for our Professional-in-Residence program.

T. Justin Garoutte, MPH, CPH was a major German here at CC and currently works in Public Health. Most recently, Justin was named 40 Under 40 in Public Health by the de Beaumont Foundation. While Nancy Hernandez, Ph.D. is a bilingual, first-generation college graduate who majored in Philosophy. Nancy has dedicated her 20-year career to promoting equity in higher education and championing the potential of “underrated students.” Her academic work has recommended how institutions can improve their outreach and support to first-generation, low-income, and/or undocumented students to develop truly inclusive campuses and classrooms.
