Stevens will join Gazette editor Vince Bzdek for a conversation about the evolving nature of media in political campaigns and how elected leaders are covered. Stevens will share his perspective on the challenges faced by the subjects of stories and journalists contending with ever-decreasing resources, and a president waging an ongoing assault on journalism and the truth.
Stuart Stevens is a founding partner in Strategic, Partners & Media, is a contributor to The Daily Beast, the author of several books, and “is currently working on a new show for HBO about Georgetown in the JFK era and has just completed a novel set at a political convention in the near future.”
Last month, Former Massachusetts Gov. Bill Weld told The Associated Press “that Stuart Stevens is his general consultant as he explores a primary bid against Trump.” Weld has said he would make a decision about whether he’ll run by late April or early May.”
