Crews arrived this week with a three-piece, wide load. Built in Texas and transported to campus, the temporary modular building, the Mod Pod, has arrived!

By late-July, the Mod Pod will be fully assembled, painted, and open for business. It will house the Writing Center and thesis and fellowship support, along with cozy study space, computers, restrooms, coffee, and snacks. It sits north of the Interdisciplinary House and south of Breton Hall on the east side of Cascade Avenue.

In Block 6, the college held a contest for students to name the temporary modular building. Two students, Elizabeth Lund ’16 and Emma Gonzalez ’19, submitted the winning entry: Mod Pod. View the proposed floor plan.
