What else? Here are a few tips to help you get ready to take a great headshot:

• Wear clothes that are comfortable and that make you look great. Avoid busy patterns and neon colors.
• Men may want to wear a solid-colored button-down shirt and a tie; a suit jacket is optional, and a collared shirt plus a sweater works just as well.
• Women may want to wear a blouse or a professional dress; a sweater or suit jacket are great options, too. Any jewelry should be subtle.
• Remember to smile!
