Corey will stick around Colorado Springs after graduating to be a Fellow at the El Pomar Foundation.
I’m thrilled that I will be able to continue exploring my home state of Colorado while helping support its diverse communities, with a special focus on the incredible Pikes Peak region. The Fellowship provides an amazing opportunity to learn about leadership in a professional setting and it’ll be even more fun to do so alongside an equally passionate group of colleagues!
I think that getting clear on my own values was a vital first step for me. Once I determined which qualities would be necessary for my own fulfillment, I had a set of criteria I could use when determining which opportunities to pursue. Having that personal clarity also let me present myself with greater sincerity and comfort in cover letters and interviews.”
