Museum Fellowships

The Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco seek applicants for its Collections Cataloguing Fellowship. The fellow will work with the Registration and Collections Management team for a term of 2 years, from September 2021-August 2023 and will be paid $55,000 annually. Application Deadline: March 14, 2021.

The Mount Vernon Hotel Museum & Garden in New York, NY seeks applicants for its 2021 William Randolph Hearst Fellowship. Open to both undergraduate and graduate students, the fellow will lead tours and programs for children and adults and complete an independent project. The fellowship will last from June 1-July 30, 2021 and the fellow will receive a $2,750 stipend. Application Deadline: March 15, 2021.

James Madison’s Montpelier in Orange, VA seeks applicants for its Digital Content and Production Fellowship and Public Historian in Residence Fellowship. Both fellowships are part of Montpelier’s new ten-year Constitution Initiative. The fellows will be appointed for a ten-month period, from August 2021-May 2022 and will be paid (see postings for salary information). Application Deadline: March 31, 2021

The Museum of the American Revolution in Philadelphia, PA seeks applicants for its African American Interpretive Fellowship. The fellow, whose position will last 24 months, will work full-time and contribute to the museum’s Diversify Living History Initiative. The salary will range from $40,000-$50,000.
