Sustainability Portfolio

About

Environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) based investing is growing in popularity; nearly a third of all professionally managed investments incorporate these strategies. The Sustainability Portfolio analyzes and invests in companies that meet these criteria and we strive to promote the environmental and societal missions of Colorado College.

The Sustainability Portfolio is designed for analysts with investing experience ranging from none to very experienced. In this portfolio, analysts will learn to complete company analysis using both quantitative and qualitative elements that include financial ratios, valuation techniques, company missions, and more. Analysts will propose multiple buy/sell order recommendations throughout the semester and include their company analysis to explain why the buy/sell order is beneficial to the portfolio. Additionally, this portfolio will discuss relevant market events and their applicability to the Sustainability Portfolio.
