The Fellows Program provides multi-year, paid, summer internships to students of color at media companies across the country. Our fellows graduate with invaluable work experience and a head-start in whichever career they choose. We work to educate and place our students in all areas of the industry, and focus on three programming tracks – the Business of Media (Sales, Public Relations, Marketing, Human Resources, etc.), Content of Media (News Production, Broadcast Journalism, and Print Journalism), and Innovation of Media (Engineering, Software Development, Digital Marketing, Coding, etc.).
Tuesday, November 14th at 4:30pm
Joining us will be EBF alumnus DAVID BURTON, Integrated Account Executive at KUSA-TV in Denver.
The Emma Bowen Foundation is a pipeline for diverse talent of all ages. Emma Bowen Foundation Fellows are interns at more than 50 partner companies across the country. Fellows in our program receive ongoing professional and skill development supported by the Foundation, including attending at the Emma Bowen Foundation Annual Conference, participation in the Foundation’s Link Mentoring Program, year-round participation in webinars, ongoing one-on-one guidance and support provided by Foundation staff and exposure to myriad resources and leaders in the field. EBF Fellows graduate to a life-long Alumni community of nearly 1,000 former EBF interns.
