Federal Judge Tim Tymkovich – TODAY

Interested in law school or the legal system? 

Join the Political Science department as they welcome Federal Judge Tim Tymkovich ’79. Judge Tymkovich currently serves at the Chief Judge of the 10th Circuit U.S. Appeals Court.

Judge Tymkovich was an honor student at CC and CU Law School and served as the editor of CU’s Law School Journal. He clerked for a member of the Colorado Supreme Court, later practiced law and still later served for several years as Solicitor General for the Sate of Colorado. He has argued cases at all levels of the judiciary including before the U.S. Supreme Court. He also teaches seminars at CU Law.

Judge Tymkovich will talk about the life of a lawyer and judge and about the ways to prepare for law school.
