This summer, Jerrell is headed to Ithaca, New York to work as a teaching and resident assistant at the AwesomeMath program at Cornell University.
I’m excited for the opportunity to work for AwesomeMath because I will get to work with some amazing k-12 students and faculty on competition-style math problems.
My advice: Don’t discount yourself. If there’s a program you want to participate in but you don’t think you’ll be considered because it’s at, say, MIT, apply anyway.
Congratulations, Jerrell!
