Regional Planning GIS Data Intern with Pikes Peak Council of Governments
Apply by Feb. 15
Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments (PPACG) is seeking candidates for a part-time paid internship working within the Transportation Planning department.
Ideal candidates will have an interest in regional transportation and environmental planning, and be prepared to help create, edit, and analyze data in support of PPACG’s planning and modeling efforts. Projects may include assisting with the travel demand model, socioeconomic forecasting, roadway traffic safety, and transit services.
Candidates are expected to have working knowledge of ArcGIS Pro or ArcGIS Desktop, Excel, Word, and Zoom or Teams (for remote meetings).
Student interns may work in-office using PPACG’s desktop work stations, or may work remotely using their own computer. PPACG will provide software licensing for the required software. Interns who are selected to work remotely using their own computer will be responsible for ensuring their computer has the minimum hardware specifications for the required software and will be responsible for their own technical support needs beyond licensing.
