Blue Canyon positions leading companies for success through the discovery of new growth opportunities (by geography, sector, customer segment, market), and an improved ability to capture value (e.g., targeting the right segments, pricing appropriately, and improving channel/customer/strategic account relationships).
The Role
As a Summer Associate at Blue Canyon Partners, you will gain valuable experience in all areas of the firm. You learn how we craft growth strategy from the ground up across a variety of dynamic industries. Whether it involves healthcare instruments or agricultural equipment, you will find that no two projects are the same. Through working with multiple teams at Blue Canyon, you will learn about Blue Canyon’s research methodology and the fundamental business principles that drive growth for our clients. As a part of the Blue Canyon team, your contributions will help shape the strategic recommendations and drive growth for some of the world’s leading firms.
Interns at Blue Canyon are responsible for a variety of tasks ranging from research to participation in client interviews. Your typical day might involve compiling research on important trends in an emerging industry, participating in internal team meetings, or uncovering data for a quantitative project model.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be currently enrolled at a top-tier school with a record of academic and professional success. We are looking for students who are results driven and have an aptitude for analytical and abstract problem-solving. Interns at Blue Canyon are asked to research and solve problems utilizing quantitative and qualitative data. Students who succeed as interns at Blue Canyon must be able to complete tasks independently and creatively to contribute to the overall success of each project team they work with.
