The application period for the fourth biennial Rubin Institute for Music Criticism is now open.

Attend an all-expenses-paid, weeklong series of world-class concerts and workshops with renowned classical music critics at the fourth biennial Rubin Institute for Music Criticism, taking place at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music October 25-29. The Institute, which culminates with the awarding of the $10,000 Rubin Prize in Music Criticism, brings together distinguished classical music journalists, renowned musicians, and aspiring young writers to advance the craft of criticism.  For more information, visit sfcm.edu/rubin-institute.

Undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to apply. There is no application fee, and fellowships include airfare, travel cost, housing, concert tickets, meals, and related expenses. Applications will be submitted online no later than May 15, 2018.
