About Holly

At Sustainserv, Holly specializes in strategy and communication initiatives that create sustainable value tied to revenue growth and optimized performance. Together with her team and her clients, Holly creates solutions that: reduce environmental impact, mitigate risk in the business and supply chain, attract and retain talent, support innovation, enhance social impact and diversity and inclusion, engage stakeholders, communicate initiatives, and above all: support responsible growth.

While at CC, Holly was a Writing Center Tutor at the Colket Center of Academic Excellence and involved in the Environmental Action (EnAct) Club and CC Sustainability Council. She was also a backcountry leader for Outdoor Education and a New Student Orientation Leader. A member of the class of 2016, Holly graduated in December 2015 in an effort to reduce tuition expenses, travel in Southeast Asia, and launch her career the spring after she graduated.

Since graduating from CC, Holly has remained heavily involved in the CC community. As part of CC’s Alumni Admissions Volunteer Program, Holly interviews prospective high schoolers from the greater Boston area that are applying to CC. In addition, she acts as a remote career mentor to current CC students as well as alumni, sharing knowledge on networking and careers in corporate sustainability through regular informational interviews. She continues to work closely with her former thesis advisor, Mark Smith, and guest lectures some of Mark’s classes in-person and remotely. These include: “The Economics of International Climate Policy”, which involved Holly’s attendance to the UNFCCC COP24 in Katowice, Poland, in December 2018, as well as “Our Careers in Climate”, a half-credit course held in January 2019. Holly was selected as one of the CC Career Center’s “5 Under 25” alumni speakers in 2018 and was selected by CC’s Economics Department to speak on a panel at the “CC Alumni Climate Forum” in Boston in April 2019.

About 5 Under 25

5 Under 25 is a Career Center series that features alumni under the age of 25 who entered the workplace immediately after graduation and represent industry insiders in diverse and exciting fields. Each 5 Under 25 program begins with a group lunch at 12:15 in the Career Center.

After a small group lunch, students can sign up for a 20-minute one-on-one conversation with the speaker to ask in-depth questions about their industry, the recruiting process for their organization, and more.
